Rich Harvest Farms Once Again Among America’s Top Golf Courses
The 2015-2016 ranking of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses was released recently by Golf Digest and Rich Harvest Farms is once again listed among the Top 100 elite golf courses in the country. Established in 1966, the biennial list is the game’s oldest ranking, and is considered the leading symbol of golf course excellence.
What the publication had to say about Rich Harvest Farms:
“It began as a six-hole backyard course for computer billionaire Jerry Rich, then expanded into a nine-fairway, 11-green layout that could be played multiple ways, finally evolved into a conventional 18-hole layout strong enough to host the 2009 Solheim Cup. With its polish and landscaping, some call Rich Harvest Links the “Augusta of the Midwest,” but even Augusta National doesn’t have Rich Harvest’s flexibility, where every hole can play differently every day, some even from different angles and par. The course will host the LPGA’s [UL] International Crown Matches in 2016.”
