DeKALB, Ill. – Due to the coronavirus pandemic and in prioritizing the health and well-being of student-athletes, Northern Illinois University has joined the other 11 institutions of the Mid-American Conference to postpone all fall sports competitions for 2020, NIU and MAC officials announced Saturday.
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced on March 12, 2020 that in addition to the Men’s Basketball Tournament it will be canceling all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year, and participation in all NCAA tournaments and competitions. SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois, will host the Western Golf Association’s 102nd Western Junior on June 17-20.
The annual championship features an international field of 156 top junior players, all vying to win the country’s oldest national junior golf championship.
SUGAR GROVE, IL – Rich Harvest Farms will once again be hosting Northern Illinois University’s Men’s golf team’s annual tournament, the 2018 Northern Intercollegiate, September 15-16. This two-day tournament brings in 14 of the best up-and-coming teams to the area.
At the last Northern Intercollegiate, Marquette University dominated the field. The Golden Eagles set a school record score for the 54-hole event, finishing with a 32-under-par 832, and student athlete Oliver Farrell shared co-medalist honors with Virginia’s Ashton Poole by shooting 14-under-par. Marquette will be returning to defend their title.
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference on Monday announced that Rich Harvest Farms will serve as the host site for the 2020 Big Ten Men’s Golf Championships. The 2020 Big Ten Championships will be held from May 1-3.

LAS VEGAS – Rich Harvest Farms will become the first repeat Arnold Palmer Cup host when the 25th playing of the of the matches are held in 2021. It will mark the fourth Arnold Palmer Cup to be held under the expanded format to include men’s and women’s USA collegiate golfers against their counterparts from around the world. The annual Ryder Cup-style competition will be played June 11-13.
SUGAR GROVE, IL – Fresh off the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, Rich Harvest Farms has resumed hosting duties of Northern Illinois University’s Northern Intercollegiate. What once began with an idea to bring the best schools in America to Rich Harvest Farms for a collegiate golf tournament has now become the signature event of the college golf season, thanks in large part to the guidance and generous support of the Rich Family.
The University of Virginia, No. 17 to finish the 2016-2017 season, finished 10th at the NCAA Championship at Rich Harvest Farms and is looking to capitalize on their familiarity of the course. Iowa State and Purdue also competed at the NCAA Championships, but failed to make the first cut, finishing 18 and 28 respectively. Trent Wallace of Illinois State qualified for the NCAA Championship as an individual and completed his season T86 shooting even par over three rounds. He will be returning with the entire Illinois State University team.
The last time the Northern Intercollegiate was contested at Rich Harvest Farms, University of Illinois dominated the field with a -7 finish as a team and 27 shots better than second place Purdue.

INDIANAPOLIS, May 17, 2017 — The NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee announced today the 156 participants that will compete in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships.
The top five teams and the top individual not on those teams from each of the six regional sites – Austin, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; College Grove, Tennessee; Sammamish, Washington; Stanford, California and West Lafayette, Indiana have advanced to compete at the finals which will be held May 26-31 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The championships are being hosted by Northern Illinois University.
