Monday, April 19, 2010 – Rich Harvest Farms golf course has achieved designation as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, an Audubon International program. Jeff VerCautren, Course Superintendent, has led the effort to obtain sanctuary status on this course and is being recognized for Environmental Stewardship by Audubon International. Rich Harvest Farms is the 47th course in Illinois and the 753rd in the world to receive the honor.
Wednesday, March 10, 2010 – While the world’s best female golfers packed their bags from the Harvest Lodge at Rich Harvest Farms six months ago, the impact of their visit was truly felt by the Sunshine Through Golf Foundation this February, as the Rich family presented the Foundation a $100,000 check in reaction to the highly successful event held at the family-owned facility last August.
This Georgian inspired Plantation House has multiple dining rooms and five (5) beautifully appointed suites. Outdoor dining is also available on the Terrace overlooking #9 Gold Green.
