DeKALB, Ill. – Due to the coronavirus pandemic and in prioritizing the health and well-being of student-athletes, Northern Illinois University has joined the other 11 institutions of the Mid-American Conference to postpone all fall sports competitions for 2020, NIU and MAC officials announced Saturday.
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference announced on March 12, 2020 that in addition to the Men’s Basketball Tournament it will be canceling all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year, and participation in all NCAA tournaments and competitions. In addition, the Conference has announced a moratorium on all on- and off-campus recruiting activities for the foreseeable future.

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois, will host the Western Golf Association’s 102nd Western Junior on June 17-20.
The annual championship features an international field of 156 top junior players, all vying to win the country’s oldest national junior golf championship.
SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Rich Harvest Farms will once again be hosting Northern Illinois University’s Men’s golf team’s annual tournament, the 2018 Northern Intercollegiate, September 15-16. This two-day tournament brings in 14 of the best up-and-coming teams to the area.
At the last Northern Intercollegiate, Marquette University dominated the field. The Golden Eagles set a school record score for the 54-hole event, finishing with a 32-under-par 832, and student athlete Oliver Farrell shared co-medalist honors with Virginia’s Ashton Poole by shooting 14-under-par. Marquette will be returning to defend their title.
