ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference on Monday announced that Rich Harvest Farms will serve as the host site for the 2020 Big Ten Men’s Golf Championships. The 2020 Big Ten Championships will be held from May 1-3.

“We are thrilled to bring the Big Ten Men’s Golf Championships to Rich Harvest Farms in 2020,” said Big Ten Associate Commissioner for Sports Administration Wendy Fallen. “We are confident in the club’s ability to create a high caliber championship environment, as demonstrated by their experience hosting the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, and look forward to creating a similar experience for our students and coaches.”

LAS VEGAS – Rich Harvest Farms will become the first repeat Arnold Palmer Cup host when the 25th playing of the of the matches are held in 2021. It will mark the fourth Arnold Palmer Cup to be held under the expanded format to include men’s and women’s USA collegiate golfers against their counterparts from around the world. The annual Ryder Cup-style competition will be played June 11-13.

SUGAR GROVE, IL – Fresh off the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, Rich Harvest Farms has resumed hosting duties of Northern Illinois University’s Northern Intercollegiate. What once began with an idea to bring the best schools in America to Rich Harvest Farms for a collegiate golf tournament has now become the signature event of the college golf season, thanks in large part to the guidance and generous support of the Rich Family.

The University of Virginia, No. 17 to finish the 2016-2017 season, finished 10th at the NCAA Championship at Rich Harvest Farms and is looking to capitalize on their familiarity of the course. Iowa State and Purdue also competed at the NCAA Championships, but failed to make the first cut, finishing 18 and 28 respectively. Trent Wallace of Illinois State qualified for the NCAA Championship as an individual and completed his season T86 shooting even par over three rounds. He will be returning with the entire Illinois State University team.

The last time the Northern Intercollegiate was contested at Rich Harvest Farms, University of Illinois dominated the field with a -7 finish as a team and 27 shots better than second place Purdue.

INDIANAPOLIS, May 17, 2017 — The NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee announced today the 156 participants that will compete in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships.

The top five teams and the top individual not on those teams from each of the six regional sites – Austin, Texas; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; College Grove, Tennessee; Sammamish, Washington; Stanford, California and West Lafayette, Indiana have advanced to compete at the finals which will be held May 26-31 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The championships are being hosted by Northern Illinois University.

The teams and individuals advancing to the 2017 championships finals are listed below.

INDIANAPOLIS, May 11, 2017 — The field for the 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships, to be conducted May 19-24 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois, has been determined.

Four regional competitions were held May 8-10 and the top six teams and three individuals not on a qualifying team advanced to the national championships from each regional site. The four regional sites included Albuquerque, New Mexico; Athens, Georgia; Columbus, Ohio; and Lubbock, Texas. Of the 384 regional participants, 132 advanced to the finals. Northern Illinois University will serve as the host of the championships and the Golf Channel will provide live coverage for the final three days of the championships May 22, 23 and 24.

ORLANDO, Fla., April 25, 2017 – With conference championships underway, golf fans will be able to follow their favorite college golf programs and alma maters as they attempt to qualify and compete in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships in May when Golf Channel gears up its comprehensive on-air and digital collegiate golf coverage the next six weeks.

For the first time since becoming a major college program in 1969, NIU is preparing to host their first NCAA Championship in any sport. The 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships promises to be a tremendous two weeks of collegiate golf with activities for the entire family.

Giant Steps  will be hosting its 6th annual 5K Walk for Autism this year at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Gove, Illinois. The event kicks off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 1 and is open to all. A pillar fundraising event for Giant Steps, the 5K walk has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years to support the school’s mission. This year’s fundraising will go towards the school’s operating budget and will help fund the daily needs of both students and staff.

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Next week, March 14-20, some of the best PGA Tour golfers in the world will converge on Bay Hill Country Club in Orlando, Florida for the annual Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard and a Rich Harvest Farms caddie will have a front row seat to all the action inside the ropes.

Zach Urwiler, a second-year caddie at Rich Harvest Farms and a sophomore at Marmion Academy, will be traveling down to Bay Hill to caddie for amateur Maverick McNealy.
